A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence. –Jim Watkins

Two Rivers Psychiatry is a small private practice in beautiful downtown Corvallis. Our highly skilled and compassionate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and therapist provide evidence-based, patient-centered, trauma-informed mental health care. Mental health is an essential part of well-being, and our PMHNP and therapist bring years of experience with a deep understanding of mental health challenges and psychiatric disorders. They offer expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

We Establish a Therapeutic Partnership with our Patients

Emphasizing the significance of therapeutic partnerships, we actively engage with our patients, ensuring their concerns and goals are not only heard but also respected. Confidentiality and privacy are paramount in our practice, creating a secure and non-judgmental environment where patients can openly express their struggles, triumphs, thoughts, and emotions.

Our PMHNP and therapist place great importance on patient education, advocacy, informed consent, and empowerment. Collaborating closely with patients, we work together to identify challenges and co-create solutions through shared decision-making. Treatment strategies often include the use of both medications and therapy so many patients will work with each provider separately. Medications help to alleviate distressing symptoms while therapy allows patients to focus on the deeper work of healing.

Whether facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, or other mental health challenges, the Two Rivers Psychiatry team is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Why Two Rivers? Where two rivers meet, the water moves faster, stronger, and can reshape the landscape. It changes things; it becomes more powerful.  That’s what we can do, together.
